About This Page

The Leaves of Fall completed on SoFurry almost three years ago. Since then, the community hasn’t stopped embracing this story about a bunny, some best friends, and the end of the world. Because TLoF is so dear to so many people, I’ve decided to port it to autononymous.io, Ao3, and keep an old copy on SoFurry.

The most updated, edited, properly spaced, and retconed version of TLoF will live here primarily, but will propagate to the above websites.

Planned Retcons and Changes

The Leaves of Fall is undergoing a few changes as it rolls out across autononymous.io and other sites. There is a small retcon, and then several quality-of-life improvements.

It’s important to note: should you not desire a retcon or updates, please continue to read the SoFurry copy of TLoF, which will not receive updates.

Retcon

Post-completion and publication, fans noted (enthusiastically) that Jenna was suspiciously absent from the final few scenes in the TLoF. In that spirit, there are a few retcons planned. Story-wise, the only changes will be in last few chapters regarding Jenna.

Structure, Formatting, Grammar, and Spelling

Here are a list of changes you can expect in The Leaves of Fall beginning 3/14:

• Better spacing in paragraphs and scenes to delineate scenes and speakers
• Fixes for dialogue tags
• MANY quality-of-life/consistency improvements
• Revamped Act One structure to be better paced and spread out
• Assorted grammar and spelling fixes
• Addition of the companion story, Autumn Flowers at the end

Release Schedule

The Leaves of Fall will update every Thursday, beginning 3/14 and picking up again on 3/20, continuing forward
